Alongside my filmmaking practice, I work with a small cohort of selected partners in a curatorial capacity.

I have over a decade of experience in film programming/curating, educational initiatives, and programme management. 

 

I’ve headed the selection of European Shorts for the Sarajevo Film Festival (EFA and Oscar-qualifying) from 2017-2026, and continue working with them on a consultancy basis. 

 

In the past, I’ve also worked with the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam, Tribeca Film Festival, Netherlands Film Festival (Holland Film Meeting), among others.

 

Throughout my work with above institutions, I’ve had the pleasure to conduct career interviews with Paweł Pawlikowski, Charlie Kaufman, Paolo Sorrentino, Pedro Costa, Sebastian Meise, Irene Jacob, and Ilya Krzhanovsky. I’ve worked in close collaboration with Ruben Ostlund, Jessica Hausner, Sergei Loznista, Jesse Eisenberg, Mads Mikkelsen, Mark Cousins and U2 and all of their respective teams to organise special film-related events and career retrospectives.

My background as a filmmaker is crucial to this work. Bringing a proximity to the craft and its inherent dilemmas allows me to empathise with the artist’s position, while connecting them to audiences and institutions in a stimulating way. I try my best to always get at the heart of the matter, resisting superficial content that can too often pass as substance.
